SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR UCO BANK APPRENTICE:
The page number 21 of the official notification PDF clearly talks about the Recruitment Process. The Selection of Candidates will be done by the examinations which will be conducted in various stages by (IBPS) Indian Banking Personnel Recruitment Board. The recruitment process is divided into many stages:
- Online Examination
- State Language Test
The Candidates based upon the merit will be selected for the language test. This language test is truly qualifying in nature.
UCO BANK APPRENTICE JOB PROFILE:
The selected candidates under the UCO Bank Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025 will be engaged as Apprentices in various branches and offices of the bank across India. The apprenticeship aims to provide hands-on training and exposure to core banking operations.
During the training period, apprentices will work under the supervision of branch officials and will learn about:
- Daily branch operations such as customer handling, deposits, withdrawals, and account management
- Processing loan applications, documentation, and verification
- Digital banking and customer service activities
- Handling front-desk operations and assisting in cross-selling of banking products
- Compliance with banking norms, KYC, and audit procedures
This program is designed to help young graduates gain practical experience in the banking sector, enhance their communication and customer-service skills, and prepare them for future banking and financial roles.
Apprentices will receive a stipend as per government guidelines, and the training will be conducted for a fixed duration, after which they will receive a certificate of completion from UCO Bank
NOTE: This is an apprenticeship vacancy and not a permanent govt job as after completing one year duration apprenticeship the candidate will receive a certificate and not the full time job.
SALARY/STIPEND OF APPRENTICE:
- A monthly stipend of Rs 15000/- (including subsidy amount if any by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship.
- The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits. UCO bank will make payment of Rs 10,500/- into the apprentices account on monthly basis. Government share of stipend of Rs 4500/- will be directly credited to the apprentices’ Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines
